"I don't remember seeing any very handsome girls while I was here. There are some pretty girls up at the Glen, but I hardly think they could be called beautiful."Updated 8th September, 14:30 PM: Sushi-roll up, roll up! The digital adaption of the delicious - I mean - quirky card game, Sushi Go!, is now out on iOS.
Head over to the App Store now and pick it up for £3.99/$4.99.

Sushi is awesome. It's delicious, nutritious, and looks super cute when you slap a Japanese chibi face on it. No, I haven't had a screw come loose, I'm just getting ready for Sushi Go! as it releases this Thursday 8th September on iOS.

As Lummox Labs' digital representation of Phil Walker-Harding's unique card game, Sushi Go, the Sushi Go app features everything we love about the original game and a little more.

For those not familiar with the game it looks pretty complicated at first but once you get the hang of the rules, it's pretty simple. Played in several rounds, each player has to pick a card from their dealt hand before passing the rest of their hand over to the person next to them. You'll then reveal your cards to each other before repeating this process until there are no cards left. At the end of each round scores are tallied up based on what combinations you've managed to make and eventually someone will win.

What makes this game interesting is its use of strategy over luck. Eventually everyone will know what cards are in what hand and you can take cards to help yourself, or to hinder someone else. You can either play locally against AI opponents, or online against friends using the Game Centre, and you have over 25 achievements to unlock.
Sushi Go releases this Thursday 8th September for £3.99/$4.99 on iOS. We'll let you know when it's available.
"If it isn't the proper thing I won't wear it," she said, with a sigh of regret for a lost dream.
Lillith Games are really leaning into collaborations with influencers and celebrities at the moment. Earlier this week they began an advertising game with Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood and today they've announced that popular YouTuber Markiplier and his dog Chica will become NPCs in the game.

As of today, players will be able to run into Mark Fischbach – more commonly known as Markiplier – in the Noble Tavern where he's taken up residence as the barkeeper. Fischbach has had both his likeness and voice added to AFK Arena where he will be on hand to help players summon new Heroes.

Some of you are likely old enough to remember the original Flashback release from back in 1992, but many of those who aren't may still have heard of the cinematic platformer.

The cinematic platformer genre was extremely new back in 1992, with it all starting out with Prince of Persia a few years earlier. The weighty, realistic platforming, and motion-capture vibe runs through the rarely discussed subgenre. Sometimes people even lump the games in with the adventure genre, however as soon as you discuss Another World (Outta This World), the Oddworld series, or Blackthorn then most people can very quickly see the pattern between the games.

Flashback was easliy one of the most visible entries in the cinematic platformer genre, combining puzzling and platforming in a world which features realistic movement and trial and error based gameplay. It wasn't just it's mechanics which made it stand out, much like Prince of Persia and Another World it used rotoscope-based animation, further adding to the feeling of momentum which the protagonists operated under.

This isn't the first time that Flashback has seen a mobile release, back in 2009 we wrote about when the game last appeared on the iOS App Store and the interesting situation surrounding it. Unlike the iteration which appeared a decade ago, however, this version is developed by original creator Paul Cuisset.

To celebrate the upcoming release, publisher SFL Interactive have released a Behind the Scenes video which features the game designer reflecting on the series and the journey the game has taken 27 years after it originally released.
Sega and Sports Interactive recently shuffled the titles of the various Football Manager games to better reflect how people play the series.

It might lead to some confusion.

Football Manager 2016 is simple enough. It's the biggest version of the game and it'll be out for Windows and Mac this November.

But then it gets a little more complicated.

Previously, we had Football Manager Classic and Football Manager Handheld. But these have been renamed.

Now we have Football Manager Touch (previously Classic) and Football Manager Mobile (previously Handheld). So what's the difference between the two?
Touch and go
Football Manager Touch is only available on PC and high-end tablets. It is essentially Football Manager's "quick play" mode turned into a standalone game.

In other words, it's a streamlined version of the game. It's there for people who don't necessarily have the time to play the full simulation.

What's good about Touch is that it is cross-save compatible with Football Manager 2016. This means you can play the game in full on your PC and then pick up where you left off on your tablet when you're out and about.
Mobile management
As to Football Manager Mobile, well, that's a little more self-explanatory. This is the iOS and Android version of Football Manager as we've always known it.

Both Football Manager Touch and Football Manager Mobile should be out around Christmas time this year.

Touch will cost you £14.99 / $19.99 on tablet while Mobile will be £6.99 / $8.99.

You can find out more about all three versions of Football Manager 2016 here.

Tower defence sequel Cursed Treasure 2 is all about defending your gold from those goody-good heroes.

You're a grouchy king, fed up of your treasures being stolen, so it's time to prevent any more of it going missing. Yep, Cursed Treasure 2 puts you on the side of evil.

The so-called "Warriors of Light" - Knights, Druids, Pirates, and Ninjas - enter your domain with gold coins sparkling in your eyes.

All you have to do is smash their will and bodies by placing your evil towers in tactically advantageous positions to stop the blighters.

As you progress through the game's 21 levels, the Black Market Goblin will sell you more spells, and your Evil will grow more powerful.

So, if you're fed of being on the side of good, consider checking out Cursed Treasure 2 when it appears on the UK and US App Stores at midnight.

It'll cost you £1.99 / $2.99.

And now to tempt all liberty procured.
"I daresay I'll be putting them on too, when I've been married four years," she thought. "Surely my sense of humor will preserve me from it, though."
