Square Enix has revealed a new game streaming service for iOS and Android. It's called Dive In and it's set to launch in Japan on October 9th.

The Dive In app is free to download, and then you pay a per-game subscription to stream titles to your device. Final Fantasy VII, for example, costs ¥200 for three days, ¥400 for 10 days, ¥1,000 for one month, and ¥1,429 for one year.

Other games announced for Dive In include Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy VIII, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders.

There's been no word about whether or not Dive In will release in the West, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

You can find out more about Dive In at its official website. It's all in Japanese, but there are some pictures and I think Google can translate stuff now as well.

Yep, 12 months on from the Pocket Gamer Awards 2015 come the Pocket Gamer Awards 2016.

It's like we run with the precision and efficiency of a Rolex.

This means it's time to reward the passion and effort that developers have poured into making what we consider to be some of the best gaming experiences of the past year by giving them another shot at the limelight.

PG Awards veterans (we've done seven of these now) will know how this works but just to recap:

We pick what we feel are the highlights from games reviewed (or released) during 2015 and then ask you to vote for your favourite finalist(s).

Simple. You can do so here.
Surprise!
You've noticed something's different, haven't you? That's because this March Pocket Gamer celebrates 10 years in the business.

Hooyah. (Not Ouya.)

To commemorate this momentous occasion within the PG Awards (expect more commemoration elsewhere, naturally) we've added the 'PG Legends' categories. And we've filled them with the games, developers, and publishers that have made some of the biggest splashes on the portable gaming scene during the past decade.

So you get to champion these guys too.

That's it. Go see, go vote – and thanks for taking part.

(As ever, if you disagree with our choices don't get mad, get typing – let us know your picks in the comments below.)
